The Sanjuks V3 Premium Lever is a true mechanical timepiece in the arcade universe.
Unlike other joysticks from the Korean modder Bandit (such as the V6 or V7), which are pure Korean-style joysticks (K-levers), the Sanjuks V3 is a hybrid Japanese-style approach (J-lever). It is designed to draw inspiration from and surpass the feel of the classic Sanwa JLF and Seimitsu LS-56.
 
Design & Material Specifications
  • Premium Premium Chassis: It is built with an almost entirely anodized aluminum structure (the lower housing is high-grade anodized metal, while the upper portion integrates machined POM/Delrin to minimize friction).
  • E-Clipless Shaft: The V3 Premium features a threaded shaft that fastens with a screwable bolt instead of a traditional retaining ring (E-clip). This eliminates mechanical play and makes disassembly significantly easier.
  • Modular Pivot System: The pivot cup is an independent, replaceable unit, allowing players to adjust or swap the pivot type to alter the movement's texture.
  • Microswitches: Equipped out of the box with 4 Gersung A3 microswitches or premium half-leaf lever switches. They are highly stable and firmly secured to the plate with screws.
  • Handle (Top): It typically comes with Bandit's updated Nobi Bullet Top (inspired by Seimitsu's asymmetrical handle design), which is engineered for quick swaps using a flat wrench.
  • Mounting Plate: Features a dedicated mounting plate specific to the Sanjuks V3 layout.
 
In-Game Performance & Feel (The "Japanese" Feeling)
  • Spring-Based Tension System (Tension Drop): Unlike Korean joysticks equipped with a rubber grommet, the V3 uses a traditional spring (often around 2 lbs). It offers a unique tension profile known as tension drop: the stick provides an engaged, firm mechanical feel at the start, which smoothly softens throughout the throw.
  • Comparison (Seimitsu / Sanwa): In terms of feel, it leans closer to a Seimitsu LS-56. It is more "notchy" (mechanically distinct) and firmer than a standard Sanwa JLF, making it immensely popular among players who like to feel and "ride the gate."
  • Screw-On Modular Gate: The blue aluminum restrictor gate allows players to swap inserts at will (standard 4-way round insert included, but compatible with octagonal, square, or squirkle shapes) by removing just 4 top screws. The metal-against-acetal impact at the end of the throw provides a very crisp, tactical feedback.
  • Game Compatibility: This is the king of versatility. Thanks to its ultra-precise Japanese DNA, it excels in 2D games like Street Fighter 6 or Shoot 'em ups, while remaining a formidable weapon for the fast diagonals required in Tekken.
 
Fightstick Compatibility
Due to its low-profile form factor and standard "J-lever" dimensions, the Sanjuks V3 Premium offers a straightforward Plug & Play installation via the original 5-pin connector on many well-known community fightsticks:
  • Qanba: Obsidian, Pearl, Q1. (Note: Not compatible with the original standard Qanba Drone)
  • Mad Catz: TE2, TE2+.
  • Hori: Real Arcade Pro (RAP) V Hayabusa, Fighting Edge.
  • Razer: Panthera (first generation).
