IST Alpha Lever 49S

The core of premium parts in 49S serves as a basis for IST's signature Knee lever,

but without the ROX Dragons branding on the mounting plate and bat top,

the colored aluminium shaft and actuator, and a uniquely designed tension grommet.

IST's own lever. It's more or less their own take on making their own Myoungshin Fanta lever

but for arcade sticks using a japanese mounting system.  

Korean parts company IST took the plunge with their own Korean levers with the Alpha series of levers.

• Gate: Fully circular guide (Round gate), typical of Korean levers, providing seamless fluidity during rotations.
• Collar: Flat collar (collarless) design
  . It is engineered to fit most western and Japanese arcade fightsticks on the market (such as Hori, Qanba, Mad Catz) without requiring any modifications or drilling into the top panel.
• Shaft: Slim diameter of 7.25 mm (compared to the usual 9 mm shafts). This reduced diameter extends the overall travel distance and broadens the throw area from neutral to the edge.

• Microswitches: Equipped with OMRON V-152-3A5 switches (125gf actuation force). These replace the Deco switches found in the older 47C version to deliver a lighter, crisper, more precise, and highly responsive click.
• Actuator: A 15.5 mm plastic actuator, custom-tailored to maintain optimal tension and activation against the switch paddles.
• Diagonal Range: Specifically tuned to widen the diagonal input zone. This layout significantly eases the execution of rotative inputs and complex mobility techniques unique to Tekken (such as Wave Dashes or the Korean Backdash).

• Default Tension: Features a 30A (Yellow) silicone tension grommet, offering a well-balanced intermediate resistance. The return to neutral is snappy without causing hand fatigue during long gaming sessions.
• Handle (Grip): Interchangeable transparent bat-top handle, available in multiple colorways (Clear, Red, Blue, Violet, Smoke Green, etc.).

• Mounting Plate: Multifunctional metal plate (Multi mounting plate) compatible with standard Japanese screw-hole layouts (Sanwa layout).
• Wiring: Microswitches feature .187" quick-disconnect terminals. Connecting this lever to an arcade stick that uses a standard 5-pin harness requires a 5-pin to 8-pin (.187) conversion cable.
